I was drawn to post-apocalyptic dystopian literature, captivated by a world in ruin and societal collapse. Themes of greed, power, and patriarchal violence inspired me to create an imagined world where the oppressed combat inequity. I aimed to design an anti-heroine, blending feminism and punk elements, incorporating the genre's dark humour and violence. This fusion of serious and playful aspects informed my work, resulting in a strikingly violent yet playful collection.
