I worked as a Lighting assistant on three short films (Goners, Harmony Inc., Down The Line), and head of BTS on one short film (The Mourning Sun) this year. Throughout working on these projects I learnt a lot about what it means to be a part of a busy set and I also learnt how much I love working in that kind of environment. Focusing mostly on lighting was quite helpful as it meant I could drastically improve my skills and confidence working in that specific department. Working on these projects has given me the confidence and inspiration to push myself and work harder to become a Director and Gaffer in future projects.
