I worked in roles across all aspects of production throughout the year, producing and editing "The Too Perfect Alibi", and working as the gaffer on "Safelight". By working in these different departments, I got to experience the logical, technical and creative sides of filmmaking, expanding my skillset and opening my eyes to roles I had not previously considered. This was my first time taking on a serious leadership role as producer, so I was able to build my confidence and communication skills, while as gaffer I was able to build on my relationship skills while communicating between departments and working under different department heads. Working on these projects has only grown my passion for filmmaking, pushing me to keep working towards my goals of becoming an editor and producer.
