Spencer Rangihaeata

This year has been pivotal for me as a filmmaker, balancing my studies at Massey University with hands-on roles across various projects. Producing Harmony Inc. was a particularly rewarding challenge, where I learned to navigate the complexities of managing a large crew and cast while ensuring we delivered a high-quality film, while my role as 1st Assistant Director on Down the Line sharpened my problem-solving under tight deadlines. I also enjoyed collaborating as Assistant Editor on the short documentary Oversway, aligning my creative instincts with the director's vision. These experiences have shaped my skills as a producer, director, and editor, and I’m excited to keep building on them.
