An unsettling take on the dehumanising and condescending treatment of customer service employees, Grubber follows a meek supermarket worker who turns to sinister measures in hopes of finally being seen. This film will resonate with anyone who has just wanted to murder that particularly rude customer at the end of a long, stressful, and exhausting shift.
'The Mourning Sun' is a bold coming-of-age short film that follows a young man, Austin, grieving his mother’s death. Austin must confront his mother’s deadbeat ex-boyfriend in order to begin his journey of self discovery.
I produced Grubber and Co-Produced The Mourning Sun. I enjoyed delving into a production role because it allowed me to advance my management and technical skills. At each stage of production, it was beneficial to foster a collaborative environment. I was clued in to what was going well with my projects, and what problems I needed to solve. This inspired me to continue on this path into my professional career.
