My practice engages in the transformation of everyday found objects to create large scale sculptural forms. Using process-driven techniques, my aim is to upset the relationship between object and function. 'Hose Garden' began as a series of smaller works, combining used garden hose and plastic storage containers to create an unlikely pairing of materials. By manipulating these materials, the hose is personified; piercing through the box, forming a sprawling, tangled, untamed mess.
