Home & Garden' revitalises craft techniques and highlights gardening as a tool for decolonisation through kai sovereignty. It creates a narrative of sharing and community through stitching, where the slow pace of my medium mirrors the pace of gardening. I dye fabric with vegetable scraps and use second-hand materials to ensure sustainability. Utilising bright colours and a quirky illustration style, I express my love for urban green spaces and the joy found in everyday experiences.
