The "illusion of movement" is a metaphor that encapsulates my practice. It reflects my experience of feeling stuck in my head, where countless thoughts race around, yet unable to act upon them. I use art making to explore this concept due to my inability to articulate my thoughts and ideas. Using animation and sculpture, I seek to explore personal conflicts between physical and internal movement.
