early morning light filters through the windows, it dances across the grains of wood on the dining room table. there’s a breath of coldness still in the air, the chill of the night still lingers. people are still asleep. you have been awake longer than i, you sit perched at the head of the table. steam arises from the hot coffee held in your hands. you sip it through a straw. how peculiar.

My practice is situated around the entangling of the non-physical remnants of curated moments from my autobiographical memory into non-representational, physical forms. The current fixation on the living history or autobiographical memory of my own individual experience has been the main influence in these bodies of work. By scouring my memory for specific emotional moments I submerse myself into all the finer details I can entice out of it, such as the colours, textures, and feelings into an abstract form. With which these moments are elusively represented but playfully explored.
