Zeb finds influence within subcultures like graffiti, hip hop and skateboarding, inspired by the material culture of their environments. His work insights personal intrigue to the history of these sites and materials; the eroding layers of paint on a wall; the site's decaying nature. His encapsulation of urban worlds expresses a narrative that is given back to the site; acknowledging the site that he has taken from and what it has given him.
