"At Thresholds" navigates the intricate identity of the Vietnamese diaspora in Aotearoa through the intimate vessel of the home. Grounded in efforts to reclaim agency in knowledge production and demand visibility for marginalised narratives, this project aims to bring a sense of belonging to displaced immigrants. The low dining table celebrates Vietnamese traditions of dining close to the floor, reimagining traditional furniture in a contemporary context.
