My project aimed to design a product system that can be implemented in areas of the Hauraki Gulf to assist with mussel bed/reef restoration following heavy dredging and sedimentation.
In response, I created the Mussel Sheet and Reef Pod, my two-part restoration system that will restore mussel beds and increase biodiversity in its deployment areas.
Both parts are created using my custom mussel shell aggregate concrete mix.
