‘In Search of a Room’ explores female identity and personal space through mixed-media collages and textile embroidery. Inspired by Virginia Woolf's A Room of One's Own, my work delves into the complex interplay between women's autonomy and societal expectations. Using intimate, everyday objects and spaces, I create abstract representations that invite viewers to reflect on their own experiences. This project has been a journey of self-discovery, bridging Eastern and Western perspectives on feminism, and highlighting the universal aspects of women's quest for creative freedom.
