The Flightless EP is a gentle response to neglect and abuse sustained over the course of a childhood. The unifying theme of these three songs is powerlessness. They are from a time when I was surrounded by so much ugliness that I needed to create beauty. I made this EP to give comfort to others and to give myself a voice.
