Between Us' is a photographic portrait project that explores the dynamics of femininity and self-expression. The project engages with how young women navigate their identities in a society that is often confusing and constraining. The first portrait is taken and constructed by me, the photographer, and the second is taken and constructed by the subject. 'Between Us' reveals subtle yet profound differences in self-perception and external perception, emphasising the power of the female gaze to foster a more nuanced understanding of identity.
