‘Share and Nourish’ addresses food insecurity challenges that individuals face through design strategies implemented in a building in Newtown, Wellington. This multi-purpose space facilitates cooking and nutritional workshops that promote education and social connections, while encouraging healthy food choices. Additionally, urban gardening initiatives empower individuals, fostering autonomy over their food choices. This project explores how these functions can enhance community wellbeing by fostering social engagement and encouraging healthy eating.
