This project reflects on my childhood memories of my mum teaching me to knit. This year marked the ten-year anniversary of her passing, and with time my recall of these memories had become less clear. To honour my mum and these memories, I aimed to relearn to knit and create pieces that would enhance this childhood experience through the use of knit-related and casting processes.
