Textile Design
With a focus on turning collected data from the contents of peoples' fridges into woven fabrics, my project explores how elements of chance can be integrated into textile design practices, enabling creative practitioners to explore the role of serendipity when making. ‘An Interview with a Fridge’ examines the intersection between chance, creativity, and textile design, while creating intricate weave samples from a rather mundane yet amusing inspiration source.
