Indigo Envisions' explores twill-based weave structures and traditional, natural indigo dye techniques, celebrating the artistry of denim craftsmanship. I have engaged with denim craftsmanship by mobilising the material practices that reflect denim's hearty nature, while acknowledging the importance of the material and the ways in which it is produced. These weaves are a representation of existing denim-making techniques, illustrating the reimagining of the relationship between denim designers and labourers.
