Splintered Roots is an immersive exhibition that explores the immigration history of Chinese in Aotearoa. Following the story of Siu Moy Lim, her experience is told to highlight a much wider history. Visual storytelling is employed through animations projected onto a dim sum table, aiming to facilitate conversation, encourage whanaungatanga within the Chinese community, and create connection through shared experiences.
