I set out to create a heartfelt, educational family book that celebrates diversity of family structures, challenges, and dynamics in New Zealand. The book introduces children and parents to a wide range of unique family situations, encouraging inclusivity, empathy, and understanding. Through relatable stories, activities, and educational content, the book highlights the beauty of all families—whether they are single-parent families, blended families, whānau, LGBTQ+ parents, or families dealing with the challenges of disabilities, mental health, or adoption.
