Visual Communication Design
This project underscores the need to preserve overlooked forms of design, and to find appreciation in everyday design. Using the overlooked medium of packaging design, I aim to highlight its importance as an essential visual storyteller of New Zealand’s visual and cultural history. This editorial features packaging design collected by local retro enthusiasts, beginning from the 1950s through to the early 2000s.
