As a developing visual effects artist, this year I wanted to expand my skills in software such as Houdini and Nuke. This year I embarked on a technically complex project, procedurally animating and modelling true-to-life species of Jellyfish in a self-contained piece entitled ‘Lights of the Sea’. All jellyfish were made completely in Houdini and rendered with Karma and Mantra. I also helped on a stop-motion called Ma-Lune.
